CM Revanth Reddy Leaves For Delhi, Will Seek Push for Metro, Musi & RRR Projects

Hyderabad, July 7, 2025: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy departed for New Delhi on Sunday to meet with key Union Ministers and push forward several crucial infrastructure proposals pending with the Centre.

CM Revanth Reddy took off from Shamshabad Airport in the morning and is expected to hold high-level meetings regarding the state’s major urban and regional development projects.

Key Agendas for the Delhi Visit

During his visit, the Chief Minister will:

  • Push for expedited clearances and funding for the Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion project, a long-pending proposal aimed at improving public transportation and easing traffic congestion.
  • Seek Central assistance for the Musi Riverfront Development Project, which aims to clean and revive the historic Musi River through eco-restoration and beautification.
  • Request permissions and financial support for the Regional Ring Road (RRR)—a crucial highway infrastructure project that would significantly enhance connectivity around Hyderabad and boost regional economic growth.

Sources close to the CMO said that Revanth Reddy will present detailed proposals and updated plans to Union ministers, highlighting the state’s commitment to sustainable urban growth and improved infrastructure.

The visit reflects the Telangana government’s proactive approach in engaging with the Centre to secure long-term funding and project clearances that are essential for the state’s development agenda.
