Common People Are Getting Cheated In The Hands Of Cyber Criminals 

Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News):  Common people are getting cheated at the hands of cybercriminalsCybercriminals are looting lakhs of rupees. A cybercriminal in the name of Cyber Crime DCP has looted Rs. 12 lakhs from a doctor. This incident came to light in the city of Hyderabad. 

A cybercriminal called a doctor from Hyderabad.  He introduced himself as Mumbai Cyber Crime DCP.  There are several bank accounts linked with the victim; ‘s Aadhaar, from which Rs. 8 thousand crores of transactions were done by the cyber criminal who threatened.  A case has been registered under the Money Laundering Act.  He demanded the doctor to pay Rs. 12.75 lakhs.   The doctor, who was frightened by this, paid the amount they demanded and finally realized that he had been cheated.  Later, the victim’s doctor filed a complaint with the cyber crime police.  The police have registered a case and are investigating.  In case of such threats, the police advised to call 1930.  (Maxim News)
