Concession in bus pass for the jobless youth

The TSRTC has announced 20% concession in bus pass rates for the jobless youth, who are preparing for competitive exams. RTC Greater Hyderabad Executive Director Yadagiri informed in a statement.

The present ordinary bus pass for three months is Rs 3,450 and it will be available for Rs 2,800 after 20% discount. Metro bus pass priced at Rs 3,900 will be available for Rs 3,200. Aspirants have to pay Rs 30 additionally for bus pass identity card.

Those interested to get discount on bus pass should submit Aadhaar card and identity card issued by any coaching centre. Unemployed card issued by the State government can also be produced.

People are waiting for buses under scorching sun as bus shelters were removed in road widening and the GHMC didn’t reconstructed shelters. After observing this, temporary shelters were set up at 24 bus stops, Director Yadagiri said.
