Corona: Telangana Records 3,052 Cases, 7 Deaths

On Monday, the State had 24,131 active Covid cases out of which 16,118 cases were in home or institutional isolation, while 8,013 positive cases were under treatment in hospitals

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 3,052 Corona cases and 7 deaths, taking the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 3,32,581 and the total number of deaths to 1772.

On Monday, the State had 24,131 active Covid cases out of which 16,118 cases were in home or institutional isolation, while 8,013 positive cases were under treatment in hospitals.

The health department, between Sunday and Monday, has conducted 1, 13, 007 Covid rapid antigen tests.

Urban centres along with tier II and tier III towns have continued to drive the second wave of Covid pandemic across Telangana.

A total of 778 persons have recovered on Monday, taking the total recoveries in the State to 3, 06, 678 with a recovery rate of 92.21 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 89.5 percent. So far, a total of 1, 11, 81, 010 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 3, 32, 581 have tested positive.
