Country needs KCR’s stewardship: Kunamneni

Hyderabad, Nov.6 (NSS): CPI State secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao today said the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was needed for the country. He made it clear that KCR has the power to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country and expressed confidence that the CM KCR would face Modi in a courageous manner. He expressed his happiness over the victory of the TRS party in the elections.

He made it clear that they supported the TRS party with an objective to defeat the BJP in Munugodu by-election. He also alleged that the BJP leaders tried to make Munugodu as an experiment laboratory and added that the saffron party did not have strength in the constituency.

Commenting on the performance of the left parties, he said they got 20,000 votes in the constituency when they had an alliance with TDP. He said their party was fighting against the anti-people policies of the Central government and added that the Centre was sending all public sector undertakings as it failed to run them.

The CPI leader said farmers in the State were happy under the rule of the CM KCR and added that the people of the State were leading their lives with self employment. Commenting on the fluoride problem of Nalgonda district, he said the problem was solved due to the efforts made by CM KCR. (NSS)
