Hyderabad: Telangana records 1,949 Covid-19 cases and 10 deaths on Saturday, taking overall toll to 1163 and cumulative number of positive cases so far to 1, 99,276. As on Saturday, there were 27,901 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana State.
A total of 2, 366 persons have recovered on Saturday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,70,212 with a recovery rate of 85.41 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 84.10 percent.
Between Friday and Saturday, 51, 623 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 569 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 32,05,249 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 1, 99, 276 have tested positive and 1,70,212 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 24 from Adilabad, 71 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 291 from areas under GHMC, 45 from Jagtiyal, 31 from Jangaon, 24 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 22 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 56 from Kamareddy, 114 from Karimnagar, 85 from Khammam, 16 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 31 from Mahabubnagar, 36 from Mahabubabad, 30 from Mancherial, 29 from Medak, 150 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 28 each from Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, 124 from Nalgonda, six from Narayanpet, 25 from Nirmal, 66 from Nizamabad, 43 from Peddapally, 55 from Siricilla, 156 from Rangareddy, 42 from Sangareddy, 76 each from Siddipet, 65 from Suryapet, 26 from Vikarabad, 25 from Wanaparthy, 32 from Warangal Rural, 63 from Warangal Urban and 34 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
