COVID-19: Telangana Records 2,166 Cases, 10 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 2,166 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths on Monday, pushing the overall toll to 1,052 and number of positive cases so far to 1,74,774. As on Monday, there were 29,649 active cases in the State.

As many as 2,143 persons recovered by Monday, taking the overall recoveries in the State to 1,44,073 at a recovery rate of 82.43 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 80.82 percent.

Between Sunday and Monday, 53,690 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1,528 samples were awaited. So far, 25,73,005 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State.

There were 22,620 patients under home isolation across the State while 7,029 cases were in institutional care.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 21 from Adilabad, 79 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 309 from areas under the GHMC, 21 from Jagtiyal, 79 from Jangaon, 20 each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Jogulamba Gadwal, 50 from Kamareddy, 127 from Karimnagar, 87 from Khammam, 19 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 28 from Mahabubnagar, 90 from Mahabubabad, 43 from Mancherial, 36 from Medak, 147 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 22 from Mulugu, 46 from Nagarkurnool, 113 from Nalgonda, 11 from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 90 from Nizamabad, 50 from Peddapally, 51 from Rajannna Siricilla, 166 from Rangareddy, 44 from Sangareddy, 88 from Siddipet, 64 from Suryapet, 24 from Vikarabad, 33 from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 95 from Warangal Urban and 48 from Yadadri Bhongir.
