CP Anjani Kumar Personally Supervises Lockdown in Old City

The Telangana government has imposed lockdown for ten days beginning from Wednesday. He personally visited Abids, Nampally, Moazzam Jahi Market, Madina, and Charminar.

Hyderabad, May 12: Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar on Wednesday supervised the implementation of lockdown in Hyderabad city. The Telangana government has imposed lockdown for ten days beginning from Wednesday. He personally visited Abids, Nampally, Moazzam Jahi Market, Madina, and Charminar.

The CP and other police officials displayed placards at Charminar highlighting the need for the people to stay at home amid the massive surge of coronavirus cases. Speaking to a reporter, Anjani Kumar said that police personnel are imposing the lockdown without giving scope for any error. “People involved in essential services are exempted from lockdown,” he mentioned.
