CP holds L&O review meeting to tackle communal situations
Hyderabad, March 2 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Police Commissioner (CP) CV Anand today held a Law & Order review meeting with all L&O Division ACsP, Zonal Addl. DCsP and DCsP and all Joint CsP and Addl. CsP in his office.
The main issue of discussion was the response of L&O police in communal situations, the need for increase of police watch on various activities of communal and political groups, the need for improvement in police preparedness and reactions, the acclimatization of new entrants into City Police of probationary SIs, SIs, Women SIs, Inspectors to City Police functioning.
There was an intense discussion on the need for effective policing and the steps to ensure the same so that right from the Home Guard upwards, each takes responsibility for their role. Preparedness for the upcoming Assembly session and festival season was also discussed. (Maxim News)
