CPI hails KCR’s meet with Nitish in Bihar

Hyderabad, Sept.1 (NSS): CPI national secretary Dr K. Narayana today welcomed the meeting of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao with Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar and termed the meeting as a good sign in Indian politics. He asked KCR to make AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy join in the anti-BJP alliance of regional political parties.

Speaking to media persons at the State party headquarters along with State secretary of the party Chada Venkat Reddy, Narayana claimed that the BJP was trying to please Telugu movie actors with an intention to defeat Chief Minister KCR with their help.

Targeting Telugu actor Junior NTR for meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, he said the family of Junior NTR has a great history and wondered as to what made the actor to meet Amit Shah?

Chada Venkat Reddy said they have extended support to the ruling TRS in the upcoming by-elections in Munugodu Assembly constituency in order defeat the BJP. He made it clear that the CPI would continue to expose the anti-people policies of the BJP in the State and across the country. He also alleged that the BJP was tweaking the history of armed peasant struggle in Telangana and added that they would stop the BJP from paying its communal games in Telangana.

He asked the State government to work hard to achieve a hut less Telangana State. He also raised the issue of the problems being faced by the students of Basara IIIT and urged the Chief Minister to focus on the problems of the students and solve them at the earliest. He also urged the CM to appoint a permanent Vice Chancellor (VC) to the institute. (NSS)
