Dattatreya Slams Congress Leader’s Commments Against PV Narsimha Rao

Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): Former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya on Thursday alleged that the comments made by Congress leader G. Chinna Reddy against former Prime Minister late PV Narasimha Rao were politically motivated and the BJP was heaping praises on PV as he was responsible for introducing economic reforms in 1991 in the country . He also said PV was responsible for the growth of the country.

Speaking to mediapersons, Dattatraya claimed that the Union government led by BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee continued the same reforms in the country. He said the comments of the Congress leader against PV, first Telugu Prime Minister was highly condemnable. Dattatraya alleged that Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi did not pay tributes to mortal remains of late PV after his demise. He also pointed out that then UPA-led Congress government failed even to build a memorial for PV.

Taking serious exception at the comments of Chinna Reddy against former President Pranab Mukherji, Dattatraya pointed out that “Bharata Ratna” was given to Pranab in recognition of his services to the people of the country. (Maxim News)
