Dawat-e- Islami Ijthema: Traffic Regulation in Old City from March 10 to 12

Hyderabad: Mahesh M. Bhagwat,Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, today notified Traffic restrictions/diversions from March 10 to 12 in connection with three-day Dawat-e-Islami Ijthema program scheduled to be held at open ground at Sultanpur, village, Pahadishareef of Balapur Mandal, RR District from March 10 to 12 where over four lakh devotees from all over the India are expected to participate.

The following Traffic restrictions/diversion will be made to facilitate the devotees to accesses to the meeting place and also prevent inconvenience to the general public/ Traffic Commuters. Traffic may be stopped and diverted in the below mentioned routes at different locations, traffic commuters may use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.

From March 10 0300 am to March 12 0600 pm, general traffic will not be allowed via Mandamallama Junction to Pahadisharif via Balapur (RCI Road) except vehicles with devotees attending Ijthema program. Traffic commuters and general public of Balapur Mallapur Badangpet will not be allowed towards Pahadisharif side via RCI Road. Hence they may travel towards Shivaji Chowk (Balapur) Kanchanbagh, Barkas, Chandrayangutta.

On March 12 from 12 noon to 0600 pm, motorists coming from Chandrayangutta side are requested to take diversion from Chandrayangutta and proceed towards Pallecheru, Durganagar Old Kurnool Road, Shamshabad, and ORR/ ORR Service Road to Srisailam Road. Motorists coming from Kadukur, Maheshwaram on Srisailam Highway will not be allowed towards Chandrayangutta side via Pahadisharif. The vehicles will be diverted from ORR Service road/ORR, Shamshabad, Old Kurnool, Chandrayangutta.

All visitors and devotees attending the Dawat-e- Islami Ijthema program should park their vehicles at designated parking places only. They should not park or leave their vehicles on the main roads which may cause obstruction to traffic or inconvenience to public. The violators would be penalized under relevant provisions of law.
