Decision Of Lower Court Of Giving Custody Of Praneeth Rao Is Correct: High Court 

Hyderabad, March 21 (Maxim News):  Former SIB DSP Praneeth Rao has been charged in the Telangana High Court in the phone Tapping Case. The High Court dismissed the petition challenging the police custody. Praneeth filed a petition in the High Court challenging the Nampally court’s custody.

The hearing was held yesterday. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the High court reserved the verdict.  today (Thursday) the High Court has announced the verdict of dismissing Praneet Rao’s petition.  The High Court bench said that the custody permission given by the lower court on the custody of Praneet Rao is correct.

It may be recalled that Praneet Rao stated in the petition filed in the High court that the lower court gave him custody without considering the facts.  It was stated that the guidelines of the Supreme Court were not followed during the custody.  It was revealed that there are no proper sleeping facilities in the police station.  After completion of the investigation, he should be sent back to jail, it is mentioned in the petition that the aspects of the investigation are being leaked to the media.  Praneet Rao said that everyone knows why they are leaking.

He said that they are investigating Banjara Hills PS in the name of secrecy.   Relatives and  lawyers are also not allowed.  ASP D. Ramesh was asked to be restrained from participating in the interrogation.  Praneet Rao has stated in the petition that the custody should be canceled as the  information has already been given.  (Maxim News)
