Delhi/Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): The Delhi High Court has issued notices to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It has ordered him to explain the contempt of court actions. The High Court has taken a serious view on the sharing of videos of Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma’s court proceedings on social media. The court has made it clear that videos related to Kejriwal’s arguments should be removed from all social media platforms immediately.
Advocate Vaibhav Singh has filed a petition seeking an inquiry into the matter, alleging that the videos were recorded in violation of court rules. The petitioner argued that the Aam Aadmi Party leaders acted in a way that tarnished the reputation of the judiciary. He has sought an inquiry into the matter. In this context, the High Court has issued notices to Kejriwal and the relevant social media companies to give a detailed explanation on the matter. (Maxim News)
