Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): In a much-anticipated revival, Osmania University’s prestigious College of Arts and Social Sciences will be celebrating its anniversary on July 26, after a gap of seven years. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will attend the event as the chief guest, marking a significant moment for the historic institution.
The celebration is especially notable as it will be the first anniversary of the Arts College since 2018. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Acharya Kumar Molugaram and Arts College Principal Prof. Acharya Kashim formally extended the invitation to the Deputy Chief Minister, who responded positively and confirmed his participation.
Speaking ahead of the celebrations, Prof. Kashim stated that the Deputy CM’s presence underscores the state government’s renewed focus on education, arts, and social sciences. “This event is not only a celebration of our institution’s legacy but also an opportunity to motivate students, faculty, researchers, and staff,” he said.
As part of the festivities, trophies and awards will be distributed to students who excelled in various sports, literary, and cultural competitions held in connection with the anniversary.
Prof. Kashim also called on alumni, students, teaching and non-teaching staff to actively participate in the program and make it a grand success.
