DGP Shivdhar Reddy Urges Young Officers To Uphold Police Reputation

Hyderabad, April 30: B Shivdhar Reddy called on young officers to bring a good name to the police department during his farewell at the Telangana Police Academy.

He made the remarks on the occasion of his retirement after over three decades of service.

A ceremonial farewell parade was held in his honour at the academy.

Shivdhar Reddy said he gained valuable experience during his 32 year career.

He noted that several reforms were introduced during his tenure.

He also said policing has undergone significant changes over the years.

He stressed the need for people friendly policing in the current environment.

He urged young officers to work with dedication and uphold the department’s reputation.

The outgoing DGP thanked colleagues and officials who supported him during his service.

Meanwhile, C V Anand congratulated him and appreciated his leadership.
