DK Aruna, Purandheshwari, Lakshman Promoted To BJP National Committee

BJP leaders and former ministers from two Telugu states, DK Aruna and D Purandheshwari were promoted at national level by BJP national president JP Nadda.

Hyderabad, Sept.26 (Maxim News): In a balancing act of sorts among Reddy and BC communities ahead of polls to strengthen itself the BJP national leadership picked up the noted leaders for top posts from two Telugu states.

The BJP leaders and former ministers from two Telugu states, DK Aruna and D Purandheshwari were promoted at national level by BJP national president JP Nadda. Also BJP former president Dr K Lakshman was promoted as BC morcha president at national level.

The BJP has appointed a new national committee comprising Aruna as vice president, Purandheshwari as general secretary among others by some changes. Also there is a talk in BJP circles of giving promotion to two Telugu leaders including Muralidhar Rao and Ram Madhav at national level.
While offering Rajya Sabha seats to both, the BJP hierarchy plans to elevate one of them with a cabinet post in the Union cabinet.

Already Telangana former BJP president G Kishan Reddy was elevated to Union deputy home minister post. The BJP national leaders plan is to strengthen the BJP in Telugu states to come to power in 2023 polls. Taking cue from Prime minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah, Nadda is taking steps for structural revamp of the party at the new states to come to power.

Aruna extended thanks to Modi and Nadda for the new assignment at national level. She vowed to discharge her duties for the BJP to come to power in Telugu states. Lakshman too said that he will serve the party as per leadership directions. Purandheshwari also said that she will work BJP national leadership directions. (Maxim News)
