Hyderabad, April 3 (Maxim News): The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today, caught Jagan Mohan, Dy director of Town and Country Planning of the office of the Directorate of Town & Country Planning department, AC Guards at his office chamber when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 50,000 from the complainant V.Jithender Reddy of Saraswathi Nagar, chintalkunta check Post, LB nagar for showing official favor to issue building construction permission. The Accused officer performed the public duty improperly and dishonestly.

The bribe amount was recovered from the possession of the accused officer, Left hand fingers of the contract portion, the money taken out from the right side of the first drawer of the accused officer table yielded positive results in the chemical test.
The accused officer has been arrested and produced before the Prl. special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Court at Nampally, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation. (Maxim News)
