EC Given Green Signal To Appoint New VCs To Universities In Telangana

Delhi/Hyderabad, May 15 (Maxim News): The Central Election Commission has given a green signal to appoint New Vice Chancellors to Universities in Telangana.

The government has appointed a search committee for 10 Universities for New Vice Chancellors, they are conducting the meetings in two or three days.  Revanth Sarkar is making arrangements to appoint New Vice Chancellors within a fortnight.  There are 16 Universities in the state.  Among these, the tenure of the VCs of BR Ambedkar, Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Satavahana, Potti Sriramulu Telugu, Mahatma Gandhi, JNTU and JNAFAU Universities ended in May this year.
