ED Approached Supreme Court Against Bail Granted To Magunta Raghava

Delhi/Hyderabad, June 8 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has approached the Supreme Court against bail to Magunta Raghav, an accused in the Delhi Liquor case.

The Additional Solicitor General brough to the attention of the court that if the trial court rejected the bail petition, the Delhi High Court had granted interim bail for 15 days. The Additional solicitor General requested that the petition filed challenging the High Court’s order should immediately be investigated and stayed. A vacation bench comprising Justice Aniruddha Bose and Justice Ramesh Bindal said that they will hear the petition filed by the ED tomorrow.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued orders granting interim bail to Maghunta Raghav for 15 days. In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, the ED said that the reasons given by him for bail were not correct in this context, the vacation bench of the Supreme Court agreed to conduct the inquiry tomorrow.
