Etala demands engineers’ committee to check quality of Kaleswaram project

Hyderabad, Aug.19 (Maxim News): In the wake of recent allegations of Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat that construction of Kaleswaram project was sub-standard and huge amount was misappropriated by the ruling party leaders, BJP MLA Etala Rajender today demanded that the State government constitute a committee of expert engineers to study the quality of the project.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Rajendar questioned the authorities as to why they were not allowing the people’s representatives of other parties to inspect the project. He also alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was trying to create obstacles for BJP public meeting to be held in Munugode Assembly constituency. That is the reason why the ruling party arranged its public meeting in Munugode a day before the scheduled BJP public meeting.

Stating that the several public representatives were getting ready to join the BJP, Rajendar said the ruling party was offering money to TRS leaders to prevent them from embracing the saffron party. In spite of the TRS threats and money offer, the local TRS leaders were bent upon joining the BJP, he added. He also alleged that the ruling party dumped thousands of crores of rupees in Munugode Assembly constituency to win the by-election at any cost. (Maxim News)
