Hyderabad, July 31 (Maxim News): Telangana Congress Legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka criticized Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government for not taking any pre-emptive measures despite warning of heavy rains.
Speaking to the media on Monday, he said that although rains and natural calamities are not in our hands, there is a possibility to sense them before and warn people. He said that the government should take responsibility for the damage caused by the rains. When KCR came, Irrigations projects were built for political and financial needs rather than technology.
He said that KCR is the engineer of the Kaleshwaram Project, KCR has designed and drawn a plan for three check dams at night. He promised that special flights would be sent to neighboring states and the leaders would be brought to see the engineering excellence.
He said that the people of the state are in trouble, and KCR did not respond to giving the helicopter. KCR expressed anger toward the people when they point out the ill-conceived design. he demanded that the officials should be sent to flood areas to assess the damage.
