Excise Officials Seize 127 Non-Duty Paid Liquor Bottles In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (Maxim News): In a major catch, the Prohibition and Excise Department sleuths seized 127 non duty liquor bottles at Pahadi Shareef in the early hours of Thursday.

Acting on information, the STF team of the department caught two persons who were smuggling non duty paid liquor into the State from Goa and Delhi.

“The individuals arrived by plane and kept the bottles in a bag. On prior information, our teams laid in wait for them at Pahadi Shareef road and stopped the car they were travelling in and seized the liquor,” said an official of the prohibition and excise department. The worth of the liquor is about Rs. 2.5 lakh. (Maxim News)
