Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): The Shamshabad Zone Task Force police in the city have arrested a three-member gang involved in manufacturing and circulating fake currency.
The police found that the accused were manufacturing fake notes and circulating them in the market. In this order, the police, who conducted special surveillance, arrested the three accused and seized fake currency notes worth a total of Rs. 2.90 lakh from them. In addition, the police also seized equipment and various types of equipment used for manufacturing fake notes. With this, the police have become more alert about the circulation of fake currency in the surrounding areas of Shamshabad.
It seems that the gang was caught as part of the measures taken by the police to prevent attempts to deceive the common people and bring fake notes into circulation.
With the arrest of the counterfeit currency gang, the police are continuing their investigation into the aspects of where the original notes are being made, where the equipment and materials required for making them were obtained, and in which areas the counterfeit notes are being circulated. Are there any other people behind this gang? Has a center been set up somewhere specifically for making counterfeit currency? They are also investigating.
More key details related to this matter are likely to come to light by interrogating the arrested accused. The police are particularly focused on the people behind the making of counterfeit notes and the network that supplies them to other areas. (Maxim News)
