Srinagar/Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Maxim News): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has claimed that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts are helping raise the concerns of Kashmiris at international forums. He also questioned the Indian government’s intentions towards the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Abdullah made the remarks on Saturday while addressing a party workers’ convention in Baramulla, north Kashmir. He said Pakistan was raising the Kashmir issue at various international platforms.
“Pakistan is going to many places and talking about Kashmiris. That is why the people of Jammu and Kashmir are being saved. Otherwise, India’s intentions towards Kashmiris are not right,” he said.
His remarks came during a broader criticism of the administration in Jammu and Kashmir. He also raised concerns over pending matters in the health sector.
