Police said four friends were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Two of them died on the spot. Locals alerted the police soon after the accident. Officers reached the location and began rescue work. They moved the injured men to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors are monitoring their condition.

The deceased were identified as Harshit Reddy, aged 22, from Malkajgiri, and Shivamani, aged 23, from Chengicherla. According to police, the group was heading from Keesara to Tarnaka for tiffin when the accident occurred. The collision happened at around 6 am on Sunday. Police said high speed caused the crash. They noted that despite road safety campaigns by both central and state governments, many motorists continue to drive recklessly. Officials added that such incidents bring immense grief to families who lose young members in preventable crashes.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and launched an investigation. They are verifying the sequence of events and assessing whether any other factors contributed to the crash. The authorities also urged motorists to maintain safe speeds, especially during early morning and late night travel. The investigation will continue until all details become clear.
