Police said high speed caused the crash. They noted that despite road safety campaigns by both central and state governments, many motorists continue to drive recklessly. Officials added that such incidents bring immense grief to families who lose young members in preventable crashes.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and launched an investigation. They are verifying the sequence of events and assessing whether any other factors contributed to the crash. The authorities also urged motorists to maintain safe speeds, especially during early morning and late night travel. The investigation will continue until all details become clear.
