Hyderabad: The First Information Report registered against Sai Bageerath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in a POCSO case has revealed serious allegations of repeated sexual abuse and mental harassment of a minor girl.
The case was registered by Petbasheerabad Police Station based on a three page complaint filed by the victim’s mother. Police invoked Sections 27 and 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 11 read with 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
According to the complaint, the minor girl came into contact with Bageerath around June 2025 through mutual acquaintances. The relationship later continued through social media platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat.

Complaint Details Multiple Alleged Incidents
The FIR states that the accused allegedly demanded physical involvement from the victim on multiple occasions and pressured her against her wishes.
According to the complaint, one alleged incident took place at an apartment in Nanakramguda on October 25, 2025, where the victim was allegedly forced to stay for several days.
Another alleged incident reportedly occurred during a farm stay at Moinabad in November 2025. The complainant also alleged that during a New Year gathering at a farmhouse in Moinabad on December 31, the accused, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, entered the victim’s room and behaved inappropriately.
The victim’s mother further claimed that the accused later ended the relationship abruptly in January 2026, which allegedly caused severe mental trauma to the girl.
Victim Allegedly Attempted Self Harm
The complaint stated that the victim allegedly attempted self harm on two occasions in January 2026 due to emotional distress.
The mother alleged that the accused was aware of the girl’s mental condition and had later expressed regret over his actions in private communications.
She also accused the suspect of circulating private information and photographs related to the victim, which allegedly worsened her distress.
The complainant further alleged that when the family started exploring legal action in March 2026, a separate complaint was allegedly filed against them at Nirmal police station accusing them of blackmail.
