Food Safety Officials Raids On Sweet Shops Across Hyderabad: Notices Issued

Hyderabad, Oct 20 (Maxim News) Food safety officials are conducting inspections in sweet shops across Hyderabad. Raids are being carried out relentlessly on sweet shops during Diwali.

The officials collected samples and sent them to the lab for testing. Inspections have been expanded to 45 sweet shops in the city. It was found that synthetic colors are being used heavily.

It was revealed that the managers are making sweets with adulterated ghee and cooking oil. It was revealed that the kitchens are unhygienic. Flies and mosquitoes were found in the place where sweets are made.

Officials revealed that the items sold in some sweet shops do not have any labels or expiration dates. The officials who cracked down on sweet shops that did not follow the rules have issued notices to several hotels.

People buy sweets in large quantities on the day of Diwali. Due to this, sweets are sold in large quantities. In this context, hotel owners are making sweets in a nefarious manner. They are making sweets with adulterated ingredients and adulterating them without any problem in the taste.
