When BRs was in power, it was known that when the President and the Prime Minister arrived in the city, he went to welcome them at the airport.  The people of the city are reminding him that he used to criticise and counter criticise anyone politically and that he used to make harsh comments even on the current CM Revanth Reddy in the past.

Some say that it seems that it may be because of the lack of aggression like in the past, as his party is not in power at present,  he seems to be of the opinion that he should not be involved in unnecessary controversies.  That is why it is said that no political criticism or counter-criticism is being made.
