Ganesh Chaturthi To Be Celebrated On Sept. 19

Hyderabad, Aug, 28 (Maxim News):  The Bhagyanagar Utsava Samiti has made an important announcement on this year’s Vinayaka chavati utsavs.  It has been suggested to organize the traditional Vinayaka Chavati festival on September 19 and the immersion of idols on September 28

The members of Bhagyanagar Utsava Samiti met today and discussed on the festival arrangements, many people are in doubt as to which day to celebrate Vinayaka Chavithi this year.  However, Chawthi will start on the afternoon of September 18 of this month and will last till the afternoon of September 19.  Tithina which comes after sunrise is considered as the festival day.  so we are celebrating Vinayaka Chavati traditionally on September 19.  It has been clarified that the immersion program will be held on September 28.

No political flexibilities, we will make all the arrangements this time like last year.  It has been decided to give the puja materials to the devotees along with a book explaining the procedure of Lord Ganesh’s pooja.  Police permission is not mandatory for Ganesh mandapams.  Just say it at the local police station.  Politicians are being flexed during Ganesh celebrations.  The Supreme Court has already banned Flexi.  We have told Minister Thalasani Srinivas Yadav not to put the flexi of politicians this time too.  He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been asked to come to Ganesh celebrations.

On this occasion, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, the Ganesh festivals will be held in Hyderabad very grandly.  More than 30 thousand Ganesha idols are being made.  The members of the Ganesh Utsav Committee work hard to ensure the smooth running of the festival.  On behalf of the Telangana government, we have organized festivals of all religions in the last nine years.  The Ganesh Nimajana program is going on splendidly.  We will set up temporary ponds for Lord Ganesha immersion.

Vinayaka immersion and Milad un Nabi are coming on the same day.  The government is making all arrangements to avoid any problems on that day.  We organize festivals irrespective of the budget. We are making sure that there are no problems in the permission of Ganesh Mandapam, he clarified. (Maxim News)
