Ganja Peddler Held With 22kg Narcotic Drug

Hyderabad, Sept.8 (Maxim News): Commissioner’s Task Force personnel on Sunday, along with Chaderghat police, apprehended one K.G. Panna Singh with many aliases, was arrested for illegal possession of “Ganja” at his residence at Dhobi Galli, Old Malakpet, and seized 22 Kg of Ganja and one cell phone. They also arrested Nagamani, Ganja peddler, of Visakhapatnam.

During interrogation, Panna Singh admitted that he was habituated to Ganja and started procuring it from Nagamani of Vishakapatnam. Panna Singh used to purchase one kg of Ganja for Rs 3,000 and sell Ganja of 20 to 25 gm at Rs 100 to 150.

While he was packing Ganja into small packets at his residence, police, on a tip-off, raided the place and apprehended him and seized 22 kg Ganja and one cell phone. The accused along with seized property was handed over to Chaderghat police. However, Nagamani was absconding. (Maxim News)
