Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): As part of Monsoon Action Plan, Special Drive for demolition of Dilapidated Structures has been taken up from June 11 and so far 162 dilapidated structures have been demolished, 26 structures were Seized and 12 were repaired.
According to GHMC Commissioner, today 11 dilapidated structures were demolished in Charminar Zone and one structure was seized in Kukatpally Circle. He said some 331 dilapidated structures have been identified afresh in addition to the remaining 435 structures were carried forward from last year, totaling 766 dilapidated structures. Out of the total 766 Dilapidated Structures, so far 191 structures have been demolished and 133 structures were repaired or evicted.
The Special Drive for demolition of dilapidated structures is proposed to be continued till all the dilapidated structures are demolished or got repaired by the occupants. (Maxim News)
