GHMC Partners With UNDP On Plastic Waste Management

Hyderabad, Oct.29 (Maxim News): A UNDP delegation led by Prabhjot Sodhi today met GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar and Additional Commisioner Hari Chandana Dasari and signed an agreement on Plastic Waste Management in GHMC limits.

As per the pact, the UNDP will invest for balers , Incinerators and establish a Swacchta Kendra at Yousufguda and Lower Tank Bund Transfer Stations and provide other required plastic waste management infrastructure in DRCCs, fund for street vendor kiosks and assist GHMC on plastic waste management.
