GHMC Sets Nov 15 Deadline To All BGGs To Install Compost Machines

Hyderabad, Oct.31 (Maxim News): As per the Solid Waste management Rules, 2016 and protocol for Star Rating of Garbage free cities all the Bulk garbage Generators producing an average of 100 KGs of waste per day have to install composting machines in their premises to process the wet waste.

Accordingly GHMC has recognized, served notices and paper notifications were given for all Bulk Garbage generators insisting to install on-site Compost machines in their premises and now, GHMC has set the dead line as November 15, for all the BGGs to install them. In case any BGG fails to implement the same within specified period of time, GHMC will enforce and take necessary action against them without any prior intimation.

For the convenience of Bulk Garbage Generators (BGGs), GHMC is going to be conduct Zone wise exhibition of Onsite Waste Composting (OWC) Machines, which deals with demo and sale of all kinds of compost machines.

All the leading OWC machine manufacturers/ suppliers are participating in this exhibition and other interested OWC machine manufacturers/ suppliers can also participate in this, GHMC will provide space and power supply to OWC machine manufactures/ suppliers to give demo to visitors.

In this regard GHMC is requesting all BGGs to participate in exhibition As GHMC is continually striving to achieve better sanitation & solid waste management in the city, it is expected from all the BGGs to co-operate and undertake immediate required action in implementing the same.(Maxim News)
