GHMC targets Rs 400 crore property tax this March

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will be collecting Rs 400 crore as property tax in March this year.

The fixed target for collection of property tax in this financial year (2017-18) is Rs 14,000 crore, out of which the Civic Body has already achieved 71.03 percent ( Rs 994.39 crore) and the remaining 29 percent will be completed by the end of this financial year.

The GHMC will intensify Property tax collection at all the five zones in a bid to collect Rs 400 crore in this month.
