Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): CPI Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said to state government to extend 12 kg rice and Rs 1500 financial support to all white ration card holders despite not drawing rations for three months.
He wrote a letter to Chit Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao in this regard. In the letter he demanded to remove the condition to deny rations to those card holders who failed to get rations for three months.
Reddy felt that there is no work in lockdown situation and stopping of essential commodities is not correct. The government has to offer 12 kg rice to each and Rs 1500 to every family. There is a need to help the poor, workers, migrants in corona lockdown situation, he said. (Maxim News)
