22-carat gold surged by Rs. 910 per 10 grams, reaching Rs. 67,960. Similarly, 24-carat gold saw a significant hike of Rs. 990, reaching Rs. 74,140 per 10 grams. Silver also gained traction, priced at Rs. 90,600 per kilogram.

Global market volatility is contributing to the rise in precious metal investments. Just weeks ago, wedding season saw prices around Rs. 60,000 for 10 grams of 24-carat gold and Rs. 55,000 for 22-carat.

Going by the rates in Vijayawada today, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold, is 67,960 with a hike of Rs. 910 while the rate of 10 grams of 24-carat gold is trading at Rs. 74,140 with a hike of Rs. 990. As for silver, the silver rate in Vijayawada is recorded at Rs. 90,600 per kilogram.
