Govt Harassing Migrant Workers: VH

Hyderabad, May 16 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao today alleged that the state government was harassing migrant workers. He said that he was not able to control his tears after seeing the problems of the migrant workers. He alleged that the state government was not caring for the problems faced by the migrant workers. He alleged that the state government was ignoring the migrant workers as they don’t have votes in the state.

VH said that the police booked him under various sections under section 188, 269 and 271 of the different acts. He asked the police as to they were being booked for doing the work of state and central governments. He alleged that state minister KTR had obstructed his visit to meet migrant workers in his constituency Siricilla despite the fact that he obtained permissions to visit Sircilla . He said that the migrant workers were weeping now due to the obstruction of KTR.

He asked KTR if he was bigger leader than Harish Rao and Etela Rajender . He asked in which capacity KTR was receiving CMRF cheques from the donors. He made it clear that either the CM or the finance minister of the state would receive the CMRF cheques. (Maxim News)
