Govt Keen On Reviving Ramagundam Fertilizers Factory: KTR

Hyderabad, Sept.26 (Maxim News): IT & MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao today said the State government will give top priority to revive Ramagundam Fertilizers Factory. He conducted a key meeting with company delegates here.

The minister said the State government was keen to restart the fertilizer company. He discussed on related issues with the delegates and sought to dispel doubts on the re-launch of thee famous fertilizers factory units.

The government had taken some shares of the company and will revive it soon, he added. He also said necessary training and skills will be given to staff and workforce through TASK.

Asserting that the locals should be given preference during employment, KTR offered to provide skill development programs for local youth through Telangana Academy of Skills and Knowledge) at free of cost. He also wanted the company representatives to fill unskilled labour workers posts.

The delegation conceded to the minister’s advice on giving training and further steps. The minister is to write a letter to the Centre to restart Kendriya Vidhyalaya on the premises of the fertilizer company.

Social Welfare Minister Koppula Eeshwar, Peddapalli MP Venkatesh Netha and Ramagundam MLA Korukanti Chander, along with senior officials from the Industries department and representatives of fertilisers company were present. (Maxim News)
