Govt Promises To Do Justice To Farmers: Kodanda Reddy

Hyderabad, April 27 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader M. Kodanda Reddy said state government promised to do justice to farmers of state in issue of deduction of chaff per quintal of food grains.

He said that the vice chairman of the Telangana State Planning Board B. Vinod Kumar promised him that they would take steps for the deduction of 1.5 kgs of chaff per quintal of grains . He also said that the state government had taken a decision on the issue and said that they would take strict action against all those who deduct more quantity than the prescribed 1.5 kgs in the state. He said that he brought the issue of deduction of 5 to 6 kgs of chaff by rice millers and FCI officials and told him that the injustice was causing a lot of damage to the farmers.

He urged the farmers of the state to bring any issue involving the the deduction of the chaff to his or the notice of the party leaders and added that they would take up the issue with the state government and do justice to the farmers. (Maxim News)
