Hyderabad, March 19 (Maxim News): Telangana Govt will soon launch a unique sports policy. The minister launched a brochure for national handball championship to be held from March 31 to April 4 in Saroonagar Stadium in the city.
On the occasion the minister stated that the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao are for the best sports policy. A cabinet sub committee was appointed in this regard he said adding that a report will be submitted to the government. The committee is giving final touches to the same and will be submitted to the chief minister for his approval and nod he said. The government will encourage the sports persons in villages and towns and district level he said. The state has facilities for the sports as Hyderabad offers necessary facilities and infrastructure for the same he maintained.
The minister said that the government gave more funds for sports development in all districts. The sports persons have to make use of the facilities and shine in the future competitions and win prizes he said. (Maxim News)
