Govt Offers 50 Lakh Exgratia To Victims Of Srisailam Incident: CPI

Hyderabad, Aug.21 (Maxim News): CPI secretary Chada Venkat Reddy expressed shock at fire mishap in Srisailam in which nine persons reportedly died.

He demanded the government to offer are 50 lakh exgratia and a job to kin of nine deceased persons.

In a press note he expressed concern that the incident claimed nine lives. He welcomed the decision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for ordering a CID probe to unravel facts of the incident.

The CPI leader suggested that the government initiate steps to prevent similar incidents in future. (Maxim News)
