Hanumantha Rao welcomes CM KCR’s decision
Hyderabad, Sept.15 (NSS): Veteran Congress leader and former PCC president V. Hanumantha Rao today welcomed the decision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to name the newly built secretariat after the architect of the Indian constitution Dr. B. R Ambedkar. He said that the decision of the CM was an inspiration for the entire country and added that KCR had taken a great decision on the issue.
Hanumantha Rao also welcomed the decision of KCR to pass a unanimous resolution in the state assembly urging the central government to name the newly built Parliament building after BR Ambedkar. Referring to the issue of the keeping the statue of BR Ambedkar made by him in a police station, he asked the CM as to when he would release the statue? He said that the release of the statue from the custody of the police would be a real patriotism of the CM. He told the CM that he would install the statue at the same place from where it was removed by the police a couple of years ago.
He told the CM that it would not be seen as a true justice to name the state secretariat after Ambedkar while keeping his statue in the custody of the police. He said that the CM would be called a true Ambedkarist only after the release of the statue from the custody of the police. (NSS)
