Hyderabad, Dec.3 (Maxim News): The High Court on Monday directed the State government to inform it about the safety and security steps taken for conduct of Numaish.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice R S Chauhan and Justice A Abhishek Reddy, asked State government to place on record the evacuation Plan to avoid fire incidents at Numaish. It has also directed government whether statutory NOCs have been issued to the Exhibition Society or not and the reasons for issuing the NOCs to the society. It made it clear that the society would not be permitted to hold the proposed exhibition if it did not have the NOCs from State government.
The High Court passed the order on hearing a PIL filed by Advocate Khaja Aijazuddin. In his petition, the petitioner urged the High Court to issue directions to the State government to stop the Exhibition as the Exhibition Society failed to comply with fire safety measures as per Telangana Fire Service Act-1999.(Maxim News)
