Hyderabad, Sept. 12: Several Telangana districts may receive moderate to intense rainfall over the next two hours, according to the latest weather alert.
Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial and Peddapalli may receive widespread moderate to intense showers. Some areas could also experience intense rainfall during this period.
Scattered intense rainfall may occur in parts of Rangareddy district. Kadthal and Amangal are among the areas that could receive heavy showers.
Similar conditions may develop in parts of Nalgonda district. Ghattupal, Munugode, Chandur, Nalgonda town, Kangal and Nampally may receive intense rainfall.
Nearby areas in Nalgonda could also experience heavy showers. Some parts of Suryapet may receive intense rainfall over the next two hours.
Telangana heavy rain alert covers more districts
Several other districts may receive scattered moderate rainfall. These include Nizamabad, Jagtial, Siddipet, Jangaon and Hanamkonda.
Warangal, Mahabubabad and Khammam may also receive moderate showers. Similar conditions are expected in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Mulugu.
The rainfall pattern may vary across districts. While some areas could see intense showers, others may receive scattered moderate rainfall.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad may also see scattered rainfall in the northern parts of the city. The alert indicates that these areas could receive showers within the next one hour.
Several parts of Hyderabad received light to moderate rainfall during the morning. The affected areas included Ameenpur, Dundigal, Bachupally and Nizampet.
Mallampet, Bollaram and Quthbullapur also received rainfall. Gajularamaram, Jeedimetla and Kukatpally recorded similar weather conditions.
Suchitra, Kompally and Balanagar were among the other areas that received showers. Alwal, Malkajgiri and Yapral also experienced rainfall.
Hyderabad rain affects northern areas
Medchal, Miyapur and Bowenpally also received light to moderate rainfall during the morning. The showers covered several northern and northwestern parts of the city.
The latest alert points to a possibility of further rainfall in northern Hyderabad. Residents in these areas may therefore experience additional showers during the next hour.
Across Telangana, the rainfall outlook remains varied. Several northern and central districts face the possibility of moderate to intense showers.
At the same time, scattered rainfall may continue in multiple districts. The weather conditions could change quickly as rain bands move across different areas.
Residents in the districts mentioned in the alert should remain aware of changing weather conditions. Motorists should also exercise caution in areas that receive intense rainfall.
