Heavy Rainfall Warning | Hyderabad, July 18: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain warning for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over the next three days, urging residents to stay alert as several districts brace for intense weather conditions.

Heavy Rainfall Warning Telangana:

On Friday, heavy rain, thunder, and lightning are forecasted in the districts of Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, and Nagarkurnool.

Moderate rainfall is expected across all districts today, accompanied by gusty winds ranging between 30–40 km/h.

Rainfall Highlights (As of Thursday 7 PM):
Utukuru (NTR): 69.2 mm

Betapudi (Guntur): 51.5 mm

Parchur (Bapatla): 50.25 mm

Chimalapadu (NTR): 44.7 mm

Konaseema city: 43 mm

Bodagunta (Krishna): 42.5 mm

Andhra Pradesh:

Friday (July 18): Heavy rainfall is expected in NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu, and Nellore districts.

Saturday (July 19): Similar conditions will persist in Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu, and Nellore.

Sunday (July 20): Thunderstorms are likely in Kakinada, Konaseema, East & West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu, Nellore, along with parts of Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, YSR, Annamayya, Chittoor, and Tirupati districts.

Some areas may also receive light to moderate rain, particularly in the northern and Rayalaseema regions.
