High Court Clears Path: Singareni Elections on Dec 27

Singareni Elections | Hyderabad, Dec 21 : The High Court of Telangana has given the green signal for Singareni Elections. The Bench rejected the petition filed by the government and issued the order to hold the singareni elections as usual on December 27.

The High court has heard the petition on singareni elections, today, the government has asked the High Court to postpone the Singareni elections. The government has requested that the elections be held in March next year instead of December 27 due to the formation of the new government.

The Deputy solicitor General told the court that all arrangements for the elections have already been completed. During the previous government’s tenure. This has brought to the attention of the court, who sought adjournment several times : the tribunal decided that it cannot be postponed again.

Singareni Elections

The High court questioned whether an undertaking had been given in the past that the Singareni elections would be held regardless of the results of the assembly elections. The High Court clarified that singareni elections should be held on December 27.
