The High Court dismissed allegations circulating online that Union Minister Bandi Sanjay was attempting to influence the judge to protect his son. It termed the claims completely fabricated and misleading.

High Court Registrar (Judicial II) B S Chiranjeevi filed a formal complaint with the Charminar Police seeking legal action against those spreading the allegations.

Complaint Filed Over Social Media Posts

According to the complaint, several social media platforms and some media outlets allegedly circulated claims that Justice Madhavi Devi’s husband would be offered the post of Bar Council Chairman if anticipatory bail was granted to Bandi Bhagirath.

The Registrar stated that such allegations could damage public confidence in the judiciary and undermine the integrity of the court system.
