High Court Lifts Stay on Plain Titles: Relief for 9 Lakh Pending Applications in Telangana

Hyderabad, Aug 21 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court Has taken a key decision on plain titles. The court has taken a decision lifting the stay imposed earlier on plain titles. With the latest decision of the High Court, nine and a half lakh applications that were already pending will get relief. The previous BRS government accepted applications online till November 10, 2020. After that, the High Court stayed the plain titles. The High Court, which held a hearing on the issue of plain titles today (August 20), announced the verdict lifting the stay.

Since the issue of simple title deeds was not included in the ROR Act, there is a situation where more than nine and a half lakh applications are pending. Now, with the High Court’s decision lifting the stay on simple title deeds, applications that have been pending for the past few years will find salvation.

Minister Ponguleti Makes Key Comments

Meanwhile, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy made key comments on the Sada Bai Namas soon. It is known that the Congress had promised to clear the Sada Bai namas during the elections. However, the government had difficulty resolving this issue due to the High Court stay on the Sadabai Namas. Now, it must be said that the green signal has been given to clear the Sada Bai Namas with the court’s verdict.  (Maxim News)
