High Vigilance And Security Measures For Vote Counting Day

Hyderabad, Dec 2 (Maxim news): DGP Anajani Kumar advised the police to take all precautions during the counting of votes. DGP held a teleconference with CPs and SPs today.

A review was made for the arrangement at the counting centers. The winning candidates have been advised to ensure that the victory rallies are held peacefully and to take precautions to avoid any retaliatory attacks. He said that the police officers should coordinate with the main party candidates in the contest and brief whoever wins to cooperate with the police.

Anjani Kumar ordered the CPs and SPs to be more vigilant and ensure that no law and order problems arise during these two days, saying that the election arrangements have been conducted without any disturbance so far.  (Maxim News)
